Desert Safari:

If you’re planning a trip to Dubai, there’s one thing you must not miss the Desert Safari. I recently experienced it; it was awesome. It’s more than the tourist activities; it’s a lifetime of memories to experience the oldest part of Dubai, the golden sandy place, and build unforgettable memories with the Dubai tradition.

The First Glimpse of the Desert:

The silence of the desert was different It felt peaceful and thrilling as we drove out of the city; the tall buildings slowly disappeared behind us. The roads became empty. The land turned golden. And then, suddenly, we were in the middle of the desert. There was the soft sandy and glowing sun. I rolled down the window and felt the sun kiss my face.

The Thrill of Dune Bashing:

Soon, our driver stopped and asked us to tighten our seatbelts. I didn’t know what was coming. Within seconds, we were flying over the sand dunes. The car climbed up the steep sand hills and slid down like a roller coaster. We were shouting and laughing non-stop. It was wild, but safe. The drivers are trained and very experienced. This part of the desert safari is called dune bashing. If you love a little thrill, you will enjoy every second of it.

Catching the Sunset:

After the thrilling ride, we stopped at the top of a dune. The view was stunning. The sky turned orange and pink. The sun was setting behind the sandhills. I felt the soft sand and just watched the colors change. It was calm. It was beautiful. That moment made me forget all my stress.

Camel Ride – A Calm Experience:

Next came the camel ride. It was slower than the dune bashing, but just as interesting. Sitting on a camel and walking through the sand felt like time had slowed down. These animals are friendly and gentle. The ride is short but gives you a small taste of how people used to travel in the desert long ago.

Desert Safari Bike Ride:

If you love a bit more thrill, you must try the desert safari bike ride. It’s all about riding a powerful quad bike across the open desert. After a short training session, you can start riding on your own.

Welcome to the Desert Camp

After all the adventure, let’s give the rest to our body. So they are arranged to be taken to a desert camp. The camp looked beautiful with tents, lights, and cushions. As soon as we entered, we were welcomed with traditional tea and snacks. It felt warm and friendly.

The camp arranges everything to give rest to the body and our mind food, music, entertainment, and even shopping stalls. You can also wear traditional Arabic dress and take photos. It was fun to see everyone enjoying themselves together, people from different countries laughing, eating, and relaxing in one place.

Belly Dance and Fire Show for Entertainment:

As the sky turned dark, the lights in the camp got brighter. And then, the live show began. First, a graceful belly dancer performed under the stars. Her movements were smooth and beautiful. The crowd clapped and cheered with joy.

Then came the fire show. I was amazed. The performer played with fire like it was a toy spinning, throwing, and even blowing fire into the air. It was exciting to watch.

Later, there was a Tanoura dance, where a man in a colorful dress kept spinning non-stop. It looked like a moving rainbow under the lights.

Delicious Food in the Middle of the Desert:

If you are someone who enjoys good food, you’ll love the desert safari even more. After all the entertainment, it was time to eat. The dinner was buffet-style with both veg and non-veg options. I filled my plate with grilled chicken, kebabs, rice, salads, and bread. The taste was amazing. Eating food under the open sky in the middle of the desert felt special. Don’t forget to try the sweets, it is really good.

Stargazing—Ending the Night in Peace:

Ending with the night, and feel the stars. It made me feel small but happy. Once the show ended, most people sat back and relaxed. The music was soft. Some people smoked shisha, while others just lay on the cushions looking up. It was the perfect end to a fun evening.
